Crooked Lake Association meetings -2020 Annual Meeting-To be announced
Board Meetings – Board meetings are held on the First Thursday of the month....on an as needed basis . We suggest checking with a Board member first to be certain a meeting is scheduled if you plan to attend. Meetings are held at the Anchor Realty Main Office, 2683 State Road 127 (old US 27 North) at 6:30 p.m.
The Solid Waste District continues to accept landscape waste at their Crooked Lake site on CR 175 N adjacent to the Steuben County 4H Fairgrounds. Hours of operation have been limited more than usual because of COVID19. The Solid Waste District is now open with summer hours.
Open and print a calendar of the trash and recycling schedule.

Steuben Lakes Regional Waste (sewer) meetings -These meetings are held on the first Thursday after the first Monday of the month at 6 p.m. at 8119 W. 150 N. Angola (near Flint).
The council meetings are held the first Saturday of each month (excluding January) at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Angola, at 8:30 a.m.
With the many environmental issues around our lake and all lakes in general we have the Stueben County Lakes Council keeping an eye out for our quality of life on the lake. Please read the attached letter from Jim Aikman and Pete Hippensteel's Position Paper on the Proposed CAFO [read]The mission of the Steuben Lakes Environmental Consortium, LLC (SLEC, LLC) is to advocate for responsible environmental management of the land, lakes, waterways and other natural resources of Steuben County. Steuben County has several avenues that lake issues are presented. Steuben County Plan Commission and BZA are examples of platforms for those issues issues around the lakes. We will try to keep you abreast of any issues that pertain to our Lake. Also check out the Steuben County Government for current information.
